Two Plans to Choose From

Guaranteed Issue Life and Disability

Members of Society of Emergency Medicine Physicians Assistants can now participate in this endorsed Guaranteed Issued Life and Disability¹ Insurance plan underwritten by Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Company. You can enroll today for up to $2,500 of Disability coverage (based on 90 day waiting period) and $50,000 of Life insurance coverage.

Under age 45
No evidence of insurability required
Eligible for all members under the age of 45 who are Actively at Work on a full-time basis (at least 30 hours per week) for four consecutive weeks.

Standard Issue Life and Disability Plans

You now have the opportunity to apply for disability income protection plan from The Hartford at reasonable group rates. Disability Income Protection will partially replace your income if you're sick or injured and can't work - up to $5,000 per a month! You and your spouse can also apply for up to $250,000 of Life Insurance. Both plans are standard issue plans and contingent on evidence of insurability.
